We are located on the Tufts Health Sciences Campus near Chinatown and the Theatre District in downtown Boston. This area is accessible by car, subway, or train. The Boston campus is within walking distance of South Station, Boston Common, Copley Square, Beacon Hill, Quincy Market-Faneuil Hall and the many other historic attractions of Boston. The many cultural, sports, and outdoor amenities that make Boston an attractive city are all close at hand.

Directions to the Tufts Health Sciences Campus by Public Transportation

By Bus, Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail: the bus or train terminal at South Station is a 10 minute walk (about 8 blocks) from the Health Sciences Campus. Walk south on Atlantic Avenue to Kneeland Street, then west on Kneeland Street to Harrison Avenue. Turn left on Harrison Ave. to 136 (the Neuroscience Department is in the Arnold and Stearns buildings within the M&V complex). The Jaharis Family Biomedical Research Building houses the Jaharis Auditorium, at 150 Kneeland St.

By Subway, take MBTA Orange Line to "Tufts-New England Medical Center," exit subway station, cross Washington Street, walk through the New England Medical Center "Atrium" to Bennett Street, follow Bennett Street one half block, where it dead ends on Harrison Avenue, turn left on Harrison. The Jaharis and M&V buildings are across the street.

By Car to 136 Harrison Avenue (M&V complex) or 150 Kneeland Street (Jaharis Building)¹

From the West and Southwest via the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte 90 west), take exit 24A at Kneeland Street/Chinatown, turn left on Kneeland, go straight two blocks to Harrison Avenue, and turn left on Harrison. For parking, continue on Kneeland for two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the Southeast via the Southeast Expressway, take exit 20, and immediately get into the left lane. Take the left exit for South Station off the ramp, and continue to Kneeland Street. Go left on Kneeland, continue for two blocks, then take a left onto Harrison. For parking, continue on Kneeland for two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the Northeast via Interstate 95 to Mystic-Tobin Bridge, take the Fitzgerald Expressway (Interstate 93/Route 3) and take exit 22 (bears off to the left) to Chinatown and head straight down the Surface Artery, then make a right turn on Kneeland Street. Continue for two blocks on Kneeland before taking a left onto Harrison Avenue. For parking, continue on Kneeland for two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the North, via Interstate 93, take the Fitzgerald Expressway (Interstate 93/Route 3) and take exit 22 (bears off to the left) to Chinatown and head straight down the Surface Artery, then make a right turn on Kneeland Street. Continue for two blocks on Kneeland to Harrison Avenue, and take a left onto Harrison. For parking, continue two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the West and Northwest via Route 2 to Soldiers Field Road to Storrow Drive, exit at Arlington Street. Proceed straight six blocks to Stuart Street. Turn left on Stuart Street (Stuart becomes Kneeland). Follow Stuart/Kneeland to Harrison, right on Harrison. For parking, follow Stuart/Kneeland only as far as Tremont St. (two blocks short of Harrison Ave.), and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

Parking is available at the Tufts-NEMC Tremont Street Garage, located next to the Wang Center at 274 Tremont Street. Bring your ticket to be stamped for discounted rate.
